1/2 Composite – Year 2, Plan A: 2A

The 1/2 Composite books are designed to help classroom music teachers meet the challenge of classes comprised of Year 1 and Year 2 students. By using an alternating plan A and plan B, students may explore Music, Dance and Drama subjects in alignment with the Australian Curriculum, whilst enjoying a variety of activities over a two-year plan.

If you have a 1/2 composite class – Plan A: Year 1 students use the book labelled 1A and Year 2 students use the book labelled 2A. The 1/2A Teacher’s Manual outlines how to use both 1A and 2A simultaneously, with suggested weekly plans.

This is followed by Plan B: Year 1 use the book labelled 1B and Year 2 use the book labelled 2B, with the aid of the 1/2B Teacher’s Manual.
